Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re celebrating ONE year of Lawn Fawnatics challenges with a gorgeous color inspiration photo! I loved the rainbow palette and I decided to pick copic markers in similar shades to create my card!
To start I blended salty ocean, tumbled glass, twisted citron, and mowed lawn distress ink onto a piece of bristol smooth cardstock. After I finished blending I spritzed the panel with water and then flicked white acrylic paint across the panel and let it dry. While it was drying I got to color! 🙂
I stamped the images from Fairy Friends and Gleeful Gardens several times onto a sheet of white cardstock and then colored them with copics. I cut them all out and added highlights with a white gel pen and spectrum noir clear sparkle to the fairy’s wings and dress. Specifically I colored each hummingbird to match one of the cupcakes! 😉
Once my background panel was dry I trimmed it down to a 4.25″ by 5.5″ piece and adhered it to a white card base. Then I just built my scene and adhered the images with ATG adhesive. I overlapped some of the images to create a little more depth within my scene. I also used a mini action wobbler to adhere my fairy to the card. Finally I stamped the sentiment from Simply Sentiments onto black cardstock with versamark, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, trimmed it down to a label, and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape! I love those adorable hummingbirds with the cute fairy!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see how the photo will inspire you in your creations! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!

What an adorable card! I love how you incorporated the birds as your rainbow of color from the inspiration. My favorite part is the purple flowers! They are amazing!
