Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to create card sets!
I tend to create only one card at a time so thinking in multiples is always a bit of a challenge for me. I decided to take some of the guesswork out of things and used the Gotta Have Gingham patterned paper collection as the color palette inspiration for my card set.
I started by trimming a piece of each color to an A2 panel and adhered them to a card base. Then I trimmed 6 pieces of white cardstock down to 3.75″ by 5.” I used coordinating Lawn Fawn inks to stamp the bandaids from the Get Well Soon set in rainbow order on each piece of white cardstock. Then I stamped the sentiment with grey ink.
Next I stamped the little nurse bird from the Get Well set onto white cardstock with copic-friendly ink and colored him with copics before die-cutting him. I adhered a bird to each panel with foam mounting tape and adhered the white cardstock panel to the patterned papers. To finish the set I found a coordinating envelope for each card and created a gift box using moonstone cardstock and acetate!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see what card sets you create!! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
