Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to make flowers, foliage, and florals the focus of your projects!! A perfect theme for the start of summer!
I decided to create a flower-filled garden for my fairy trio! I’ve been coloring lots of images for the current Daily Marker 30 Day coloring challenge and it was easy to pop them into my scene! To start I masked off a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock and blended twisted citron and squeezed lemonade distress ink to create my ground. Then I shifted the mask and blended picked raspberry, shaded lilac, and wilted violet distress ink onto the upper portion of the cardstock to create my sky.
Then I simply built up my scene using colored images from Gleeful Gardens and Fairy Friends. I used a mixture of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape to create a little dimension in my scene and added accents with a white gel pen and spectrum noir clear sparkle!
I stamped my sentiment from Fairy Friends onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I cut it into a label and then cut the label down to fit into the card panel.
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see your floral cards! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
