Good morning!! It’s time for a new Lawn Fawnatics challenge and we’re challenging you to create coffee, tea, and treat themed cards!! One of my favorite things about fall is pumpkin spice lattes so I thought it’d be perfect to use Lawn Fawn’s Pumpkin Spice for today’s card!
And I love squirrels! 😉
To create my card I stamped the latte and spice bottle from Pumpkin Spice and the squirrel from Cheery Christmas with copic-friendly ink and colored them with copics before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies. I die-cut the Leafy Tree Backdrop Portrait with the Knock on Wood paper pack and die-cut the Simple Stitched Hillside with navy blue cardstock.
Next I blended abandoned coral, wild honey, and mustard seed distress ink onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock, trimmed it down and reserved the trimmings, and adhered it behind the Leafy Tree die. I stamped the sentiment onto one of the trimmed pieces with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I trimmed it down to a fishtail banner. I adhered the squirrel, mug, and sentiment with foam mounting tape and then added more “spices” with copic markers. To finish the card I added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the mug and nuvo crystal glaze to the spice bottle!
And now it’s your turn! I can’t wait to see your yummy cards! You can link up your entries on the Lawn Fawnatics blog! Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing day!
