Good morning! It’s time for a new Lawnscaping Challenge and we’re challenging you to create something sweet!
Our fabulous friends at Lawn Fawn are sponsoring this challenge and one lucky winner will win a stamp set of your choice! I decided to try to be a little healthy (HA!) and go with a naturally sweet treat!
I think this cute watermelon stamp set was one of my very first crafty purchases when I discovered online crafting stores almost two years ago! I’m not a bug person but these little ants are really cute!
I masked off a piece of white cardstock and stamped the Woodgrain stamp with Walnut ink. Then I swiped Doe ink over the stamped area to color the rest of the wood. I removed the masks and then added a “tablecloth” of from Lawn Fawn patterned paper that I die-cut with a stitched rectangle die.
I stamped the watermelon with copic-friendly ink, colored them with copics, and then fussy cut each slice. I added a layer of glossy accents and let them dry. While they were drying I stamped the sentiment with Lobster ink and stamped the ants with Black Licorice ink. Once the watermelon slices were totally dry I adhered them to my card with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. To finish my card I added a little kraft colored twine and mounted the panel to a white card base with foam mounting tape.
Head over to the Lawnscaping blog to get all the details on the challenge and see the stunning creations from the rest of the design team! I look forward to seeing what you will create! Thanks so much for visiting and have a great Monday!
Interested in the products I used? To make them easy for you to find, I have listed them below. (Affiliate disclosure can be found here). Your purchases help keep my blog running and I thank you for the support!)

Jess, haha what a cute card. I love how you did the table and tablecloth. While I don’t like ants in real life, they’re always cute on a card. Thanks for sharing.
