Waffleflower: Sweet Tooth STAMPtember Day 13 (+VIDEO!)

I decided to focus on just one small stamp from the set (and my favorite part of Halloween): candy corn!

First I stamped my sentiment with white pigment ink and then filled in the outline of the sentiment with polychromos colored pencil.  Then I restamped the sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.

Next I traced a small circle around the die and then stamped my candy corn in a loose wreath around the circle with white pigment ink.  Then I decided I liked the candy corn so much that I stamped it across the entire panel and then erased the pencil line.  I started by putting down a layer of white in the middle of the candy corn image and then colored over it with two shades of orange colored pencil.  Then I put down a layer of white colored pencil to the top and bottom of the candy corn and colored the bottom with two shades of yellow colored pencil.  I added a second layer of white to the top of each candy piece.  It took about an hour and a half to color the panel but some of that time was because I needed to let my hand rest every few minutes.  After I was done coloring I added a few nuvo drops and white gel pen drops to finish the card!
