Good morning! I’ve got a slightly different kind of video for you today! I was feeling a little burned out on card-making yesterday so I decided to clear my head with a little watercolor practice. And recently I received an email asking me to share more watercolor videos so I thought I’d delve into that with this practice session using prints from Suzy Plantamura for Simon Says Stamp. I did finish by turning it into a card but this is definitely more of just an organic practice session rather than a traditional tutorial. You can watch the video below or at my YouTube channel!
I am certainly no expert at watercoloring; in fact I consider it to be the weakest aspect of my card-making but it’s something I’m striving to improve. Most days I end my crafting sessions watercoloring something…even if it’s just one stamped image. They’re usually not good enough to share but each one teaches me more and more about the process and I enjoy learning! I hope that my video gives some tricks or tips to any newbies and I’d love your thoughts or tips and tricks! And if there’s anything else you’d like to see my in videos, please comment let me know! 🙂
I’ll be back at midnight with another AWESOME must-have STAMPtember exclusive collaboration! 😉 Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic Sunday!

Jess, what an AMAZING watercolor! I was mesmerized and am trying to learn all I can. You sell yourself way short because you are as good, if not better than those you mentioned. I am new to papercrafting and am trying to learn from one of the best . . .YOU!! Thanks for posting.

This is a beautiful card! I love the softness of the watercolor on the background. I can never get mine to dry right without harsh lines.
