I created a clean and simple card using a color palette I’m really starting to love: grey, black, red, and gold!
First I stamped the solid flowers onto the grey cardstock with versamark. Then I brush perfect pearls in forever red over the versamark and tap off the excess. The perfect pearls powder sticks to the versamark and the excess can be tapped off or rubbed off with a soft cloth. I set the perfect pearls powder by spritzing the flowers with water and letting them dry. Then I prepped the panel with my powder tool and stamped the sprig with versamark before heat-embossing it with gold tinsel embossing powder.
Next I stamped the sentiment onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I trimmed the grey panel down to 4″ by 5.5″ panel and adhered it to a black card base. Then I used the sentiment label dies from Simon Says Stamp to die-cut the label and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape. Finally I added a few metallic gold sequins to finish the card!
