Good afternoon! Â We have a fun color palette to inspire you this week!
I love how the colors are SO close to traditional Christmas colors but also NOT quite there… 😉  When I first saw the colors they really screamed “beach” to me so I decided to make a beach-themed Christmas scene!
I love my little Santa Claws! 😉 Ha!  I used Ready Set Snow to create a sandy beach globe shaker!  I stamped the sandcastle and crab from Life is Good and the santa hat from Baaah Humbug and colored them with copic markers.  Then I blended tumbled glass and peacock feathers distress ink onto a piece of Neenah cardstock to create the sky and water before stamping and heat-embossing the snowflakes on the sky.  I added sand with the stitched hillside border and then filled my shaker with microbeads!
I adhered the shaker to the tag die and then added a ribbon of kraft twine and teal embroidery floss.  I glued two strips of patterned paper to my cardbase and then added the shaker to finish the card.
And now it’s your turn to get crafty!  We provide an inspiration palette or photo each week but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card!  For even more inspiration, check out what the rest of the Christmas Card Challenges design team has created!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!
