Lil’ Inker Designs: January 2017 Release – Day 1 (+GIVEAWAY!)

Good morning and welcome to the first day of the January release for Lil’ Inker Designs!  We’re introducing a bunch of gorgeous stamps and dies and they’re all available right now!  I love that Laura doesn’t make you wait to shop the new release so I totally understand if you want to go shop now, but make sure you come back and comment for a chance to win the entire January release!  That’s correct…one lucky commenter will win everything!  There’s more details on how to win at the end of my post!  Today I’m showcasing the Filled Heart stamp set and the Brush Script Valentine’s Day Word dies!

For my first card I kept things CAS.  I stamped the Filled Heart with dark pink dye ink and the sentiment with black dye ink.  Then I colored the sentiment with copic markers for a slight ombre effect.  Finally I wound three shades of pink and red twine around a background panel and used foam mounting tape to adhere the panel on top of it.

I love all the details in that filled heart stamp!  Some of the other design team ladies have done all sorts of interesting things coloring it in! 😉 You should definitely check it out!

Hugs and Kisses by Jessica Frost-Ballas for Lil' Inker Designs

For my second card I combined a few older Lil’ Inker products with the new Brush Script Valentine’s Day Word dies.  I love the All about Ampersand stamp and die set and thought it would be perfect with the brush script words!  I die-cut the ampersand border with white cardstock and layered it over the Dip Dyed Ombre Paper Pad.  Next I die-cut the word Hugs from white cardstock, pressed a versamark pad over it, and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder before adhering it to the panel.  Finally I heat-embossed the rest of the sentiment from All About Ampersand with gold embossing powder, fussy cut it, and popped it up with foam mounting tape!

    I love that the filled heart stamp looks so fabulous WITHOUT coloring… it’s nice not to have to color once in a while. : ) Love the elegant look of the other card!!

    Love both of your cards! I think I have to get that Filled Heart stamp! It looks beautiful with the word in the middle! I also think I am going to have to get that Scripted words die! I have the big ampersand so I have to get the Hugs die now so I can CASE your card!
