Good morning! I’m right in the middle of a ton of new release crafting (oh my….I cannot wait to show you all of this amazingness…and it all starts next week!!) but I did want to make a quick card for the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop! I was one of the original design team members for the Coffee Loving Cardmakers back in 2015 and I try to create at least one card for each hop! Amy pours her heart and soul (literally! 😉 ) into this amazing hop and if you don’t already participate you should totally check it out here!
This card uses the Coffee and Tea set from the February Simon Says Stamp card kit. The kit itself is sold out but you can still purchase the stamp set and the patterned paper I used. The sentiment is from an awesome Hero Arts set! I started by stamping the cup onto white cardstock and then I colored it with polychromos colored pencils. I’m working on my colored pencil shading and curved objects are fun practice! Then I stamped the face onto the cup and fussy cut it.
Next I stamped the sentiment onto white cardstock and layered it on a piece of paper from the kit. I added a pink twine bow and then adhered the sentiment to a kraft card base. Finally I added my happy cup with foam mounting tape! Bright, cheerful, and perfect for spring! 🙂
