As I looked back through my cards this year I was amused to find an overwhelming number of cards feature pink, ocean scenes, metallic elements, interactive elements, watercolors or alcohol inks, or any combination of those 6 characteristics! 😉 Some of my preferences may change slightly from year to year but those characteristics are definitely engrained in my design aesthetic! 😉 Perhaps in 2018 I should resolve to use more green and orange! 🙂
I also wanted to take some time to acknowledge all of my blog readers, social media followers, and personal cheerleaders! Your comments, likes, shares, and follows are really appreciated and you keep me inspired to keep creating! I am so grateful for your support and friendship and look forward to another wonderful year together!!

Your cards are all perfection in my eyes, Jess! You did pick one of my very favorites, the Altenew Sketched Floral with the beautiful alcohol ink coloring. I learned a lot from that video & have had fun playing with those inks since then. Thanks so much for all your wonderful inspiration!

So many wonderful cards you have spotlighted, Jes! Your backgrounds are so beautifully blended and I’ve always been in awe of your blending skills. Your Chibi and Lawn Fawn colab card is at the top of my list of 2017 faves (overall) as well as your October My Monthly Hero card with the silver capped mountains, the beautiful blended sky and Santa and his reindeer.
I love all your cards, love your backgrounds too. My favourite is the blue and gold with fish although these are all fabulous.
I love all of them! You really rock with bold colors 🙂 My favorite is probably the mermaid card you created with alcohol inks, but the lawn fawn interactive card is fantastic, too!!

I love all your cards. My favorite is the Ellen Hutson mermaid tail. I have used that in so many ways. It helps to live in Florida!! Looking forward to your inspiration in 2018. Thank you also for raising money for the pets displaced because of the hurricanes. It was fun to participate. Happy New Year!!
These are all gorgeous! I had your final Hero Arts card my favorite card of yours – it’s absolutely beautiful and I live near the ocean so I really enjoy ocean-themed cards. You are such an inspiration to many of us! Looking forward to seeing what you will make in 2018! Happy New Year!

I think my favorite is the gold embossed mandala and alcohol inks, beautiful. But I love the next one with the bright gold trees and the polar bear. I enjoy your work and can’t wait to see what you have in store in 2018! Happy New Year!
