Good morning! Today I’m thrilled to be joining Tracey McNeely for her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! This is my third year participating and my second year representing Lil’ Inker Designs! I’ll be back a few more times this month with different companies but today is all about Lil’ Inker Designs!!
And here’s my tag:
I love unconventional color palettes for Christmas and I think this pink, gold, black, and grey combination is really elegant! I started by stamping the Festive Florals poinsettia and foliage onto white cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold tinsel embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating dies. Next I die-cut a piece of white cardstock and a piece of patterned paper from a Mind’s Eye pad with the Anytime Tags die set 2 and adhered them together to create a sturdy tag. I stamped the sentiment from Rustic Christmas onto the tag and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder.
Next I adhered the poinsettias to the tag with a mixture of foam mounting tape and regular ATG adhesive. I added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle over it and and then added nuvo glitter drops in honey gold to the center of the poinsettia, the berries, and to the tag itself. Finally I added a grey ribbon and a little black and gold twine to finish the tag!
If this is the first you’re hearing of Tracey’s 25 Days of Christmas Tags event make sure to head here to read all about it and enter your tags for a chance to win a prize from one of these fabulous sponsors:
