Good morning! I have a bright and vibrant card using the gorgeous and super popular Beautiful Flowers 2 from Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember release!
I have a video for my card that you can watch below or at my YouTube channel!
First I blended candied apple, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, and squeezed lemonade distress oxide ink onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. I spritzed it with water twice and blotted off the excess. Then I placed the panel in my overspray box and flicked it with white paint twice. The first time I blotted it off while still damp and the second time I let it dry completely. Then I stamped the flower from Beautiful Flowers 2 with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I used a little picked raspberry and candied apple distress oxide ink to paint over the flower to darken the already blended ink. Occasionally I blotted the ink and added another darker layer until I was happy with the contrast and then I let it dry.
While the panel was drying I stamped the sentiment from Hey There Sunshine and Beautiful Flowers 2 onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I die-cut it with the Sentiment Label dies and then added it to the card panel with a mix of regular and foam adhesive. I added a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to the flower and finished the card with a few sparkling clear sequins.
Thanks so much for visiting and have an amazing weekend!
