Good morning! Well so far I’m on track with another video for day two (find day one and a giveaway here) and today we’re celebrating STAMPtember with a HUGE party!! This isn’t a traditional hop…it really is a fun way to get inspired and go on a “treasure” hunt! Anyway like I mentioned earlier I do have another video to share using the Mod Stripe stencil with distress inks and glimmer paste! You can watch the video below or at my Youtube channel here.
First I blended abandoned coral, picked raspberry, candied apple, and ripe persimmon distress inks onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I taped the Mod Stripe stencil over the panel and applied a thin layer of Nuvo Glimmer Paste in Moonstone!
While it was drying I stamped the large sentiment from Great Things onto black cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die. Then I stamped the rest of the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder before cutting them into thin strips with the Sentiment Label dies! I adhered the sentiment to the stenciled panel with foam mounting tape and added a few gems to finish the card! And then I proceeded to sing that song the rest of the day! 😉
