This week A Blog Named Hero is challenging you to create something using embossing! You can use dry or heat-embossing…there are so many different ways you could interpret this challenge!
Here’s my card!
I started off by stamping the large background Hero Arts stamp with versamark and then heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder. Then I used my Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors to create the rainbow! Originally I intended to wipe all the excess paint off the embossed areas but I decided I like the softer shade of the colors surrounding the text so I didn’t rub too hard! 😉
I die-cut the stitched square and embossed the sentiment with Ranger silver embossing powder. To finish the panel, I added a tangle of silver thread and a sprinkle of Glass Slippers sequins in various sizes! The panel was mounted to a top-folding A2 card of black cardstock. It’s definitely bright and cheerful!
I hope you’ll join in the fun and use Hero Arts products with embossing for the challenge! The challenge runs until April 19th and we look forward to seeing your creations!
As always, thanks to our very generous sponsor, Simon Says Stamp:

Love the rainbow colors! Also like how you set your square as a diamond for the greeting. Gives it a different look! Great card–tfs!
