This is my second post for today! If you’re looking for Christmas Card Challenges please scroll down or click here!
This week A Blog Named Hero is challenging you to create something CAS (clean and simple)! This month we are collaborating with WPlus9 and I couldn’t wait to mix some of the nautical themed products for a card!
I started off by die-cutting the sailboat twice: once with Neenah solar white cardstock and once with WPlus9 Nautical Navy cardstock. Next I masked off a section of my card front with micropore tape and then used the Hero Arts Pool to Navy Ombre ink pad to ink up the Hero Arts Wave Pattern background stamp and stamped it on the the panel. Then I stamped the sentiment from the WPlus9 A New Day set with WPlus9 Nautical Navy ink. I used foam mounting tape to attach the sailboat to the waves and then trimmed the sides of the panel down by 1/2″. Finally I adhered the card panel to a top folding A2 card of WPlus9 Nautical Navy cardstock.
I hope you’ll join in the fun and create something CAS using Hero Arts (and WPlus9) products for the challenge! The challenge runs until March 19th and we look forward to seeing your creations!
