Good evening and welcome to the first August challenge for A Blog Named Hero! I am super excited about the challenge as I LOVE all things metallic! Here’s my card:
To create this card I started off by stamping the Hero Arts Tea Garden stamp onto watercolor paper with versamark and heat embossing it with superfine white powder. Then I watercolored the background with distress inks mixed with iridescent medium for a very striking shimmer. Once that dried completely I used an iron to remove the embossing powder.
Next I stamped my sentiment from Neat and Tangled with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver superfine embossing powder. I created a shaker using the Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangle dies and filled it with sequins in shades of blue and metallic silver!
