Good morning! I spent the weekend organizing and sorting my stamps and set aside a few sets that I’ve owned for awhile but never got around to using! My goal is to use all of the stamp sets in that pile at least once this year! So the set at the top of the stack was Neat and Tangled Scandinavian Prints and I had a few minutes yesterday for some CAS watercoloring!
I love those trees…lots of fun patterns, shapes, and sizes! I wanted to keep the watercoloring loose and relaxed. I stamped the trees with versamark and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder on watercolor paper. Then I used my Gansai Tambi watercolors to color each tree with a different shade of green. While it dried I adhered gold glitter paper to my card base and trimmed down the watercolor panel. Finally I stamped the sentiment with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. Easy peasy! 😉 And I really love those trees…I envision a set of those cards with various colors…pink or purple trees would be awesome!
One of my New Year’s resolutions is to make and share more of my daily cards that I create but often forget to share on my blog or social media. I hope that you enjoy them, too! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a great day!
