Good morning! I’m just popping in to share a quick card using some of the cute seahorse themed products from last month’s Believe in You release from Simon Says Stamp!
To start I stamped that cute little seahorse from Never Quit Swimming and colored him with copic markers before fussy-cutting him. I also stamped the sentiment on black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before trimming it down to a thin label. I die-cut a few circles from vellum using the Hero Arts circle infinity dies and added some accents with a white gel pen so they’d look like bubbles!
To create my background I stamped the Seahorse background stamp onto Paradise cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I blended Peacock Feathers, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink over the panel. The clear embossing powder resists the ink and reveals those pale aqua seahorses! I trimmed the panel down and adhered it to a white card base. I adhered my vellum with vellum adhesive and then added the seahorse and sentiment with foam mounting tape to finish the card!
And that’s it! Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
