Good morning! I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the October stencil and washi tape release from Altenew! I’ve got 2 different projects and a giveaway to share so let’s get started!
First up is this floral card using Grateful Heart!
I started by stamping several of my flowers using Altenew inks in Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Heart Beat, Buttercream, Warm Sunshine, and Jet Black. I stamped the leaves with Morning Frost, Evening Gray, Moon Rock, and Jet Black. Once I was done stamping I die-cut all the images with the coordinating dies.
Then I trimmed a panel of watercolor paper down to 3.75″ by 8″ and gave it an ombre watercolor wash with the Jet Black watercolor marker. After I finished the wash I added splatters of water and more concentrated Jet Black ink. Once the panel was dry I arranged my flowers and adhered them with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. I stamped the sentiment from Grateful Heart onto white cardstock with Moon Rock, trimmed it down to a thin label, and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape. Finally I added a little crystal glaze to the flower centers to finish the card.
Next is this landscape card using the fun Wanderlust stamp set!
To start I blended Parisian Blue, Ultramarine, Sapphire, and Jet Black ink onto a panel of white cardstock. I let it dry and then stamped the sentiment and moon from Wanderlust with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Then I added stars with a white gel pen and a posca paint pen.
Next I stamped the mountains from Wanderlust with Jet Black ink towards the bottom third of my panel. I swiped my Jet Black ink pad across the bottom of the panel to continue the black. I let it dry completely and then stamped the treeline with versamark and heat-embossed it with silver sparkle embossing powder for a little sparkle!
