Good morning! I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the November stamp, die, and stencil release from Altenew! I’ve got two projects and a giveaway to share so let’s get started!
For my first card I kept it pretty simple with my favorite combo of pink, black, and white! I stamped the flowers and foliage from Poppy Garden with intense black ink and colored them with copics. I used pinks and yellow for the flowers and greys for the foliage. Once I was done coloring I die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Next I applied the Gradient Lines washi tape to an A2 panel of white cardstock and trimmed off the excess. I stamped the sentiment and trimmed it down to a thin angled label. Then I adhered my first flower layer to the A2 panel. I added a tangle of black thread and then adhered the single flower with foam mounting tape. Finally I tucked in my sentiment to finish the card!
Next I wanted to play with the Poppy Garden masking stencils! I started by stamping the top flower with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I masked it and stamped the bottom flower layer with intense black ink. I masked off both flowers with the stencil and lightly blended evergreen bough and cracked pistachio distress oxide ink around the flowers fading out to white. I splattered the distress oxide ink with water and blotted off the excess before letting it dry.
While that was drying I worked on the sentiment. I die-cut the bottom layer of the Handwritten Hello die from black cardstock. Next I blended evergreen bough distress oxide ink onto a panel of white cardstock. I let it dry for a few minutes and then die-cut it with the sentiment die. I adhered them together with liquid adhesive and then added them to my blended panel. I love the pop of green with the bold floral stamps!
And that’s it! Head over to check out the rest of the gorgeous November release from Altenew and let me know your favorites!

Wow, black, white, pink and yellow? I wouldn’t have expected that would have meshed so well but your card is fantastic especially with the thread. It’s amazing how the littlest detail could make so much of a difference. Awesome cards.
