Good morning! I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the December Ink Release from Altenew! I’ve got a project and a giveaway to share so let’s get started!
Today I wanted to really focus on sharing the different shades of inks so I kept my card simple with a little blending a little stamping! To start I blended the two lightest shades in the Sugarplums set: Pale Mauve and Amethyst inks onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. Then I started stamping the flowers and foliage from Wildflower Garden using all the shades in the Sugarplums set. It’s pretty to see how the various shades stand out against the ink blending. When I finished with all the flowers I added the centers with Butternut and Pumpkin Pie inks from the Fall Harvest set.
Next I blended Yellow Ochre, Pumpkin Pie, and Butternut ink onto a scrap panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. I die-cut it with the Simply Hello die and then layered it onto another hello die-cut from white cardstock. To finish the card I adhered the layered sentiment!
And that’s it! Head over to check out the rest of the gorgeous inks from Altenew and let me know your favorites!
