Good morning! I am super excited to be hopping along to celebrate the Quiet Reflections release from Altenew! There are tons of new products: stamps, dies, stencils, inks, and more that are now available over at Altenew! Today I’m focusing on the gorgeous You Are Beautiful set that features one of my favorite flowers: hibiscus!
The layering stamps are so detailed and stamp beautifully! I stamped the flowers in shades of peach and bright red and the leaves in mint and aqua and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.
Then I was inspired by Kristina Werner to create my own background by swiping ink pads in shades of aqua and navy. I concentrated the colors in different areas and just let the pattern evolve. Since the panel was really wet I let it dry completely and then added a wash of metallic teal watercolor for a little sparkle. I arranged all the flowers and leaves across the panel and then added a sentiment cut from gold glitter cardstock to finish the card!
And that’s it from me! Head over to check out the rest of the Quiet Reflections release from Altenew and let me know your favorites!
