Alex Syberia Designs “Time To Choose Magic” April Release Blog Hop (+GIVEAWAY!)

Today I’m using the Always Be Yourself unicorn with the Joyful Rainbow stencil!  I start by stamping the unicorn with versafine and heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder.  I color him with copic markers and then die-cut him with the coordinating dies.  I also stamp a sentiment from Always Be Yourself onto black cardstock and heat-emboss it with white embossing powder.  I love that there’s a coordinating die for the sentiments, too!  Next I stamp the clouds onto white cardstock and heat-emboss them with white twinkle embossing powder which is mostly white with lots of metallic silver flecks.

Next I blended inks over the various layers of the Joyful Rainbow.  On the dotted layer I pressed my versamark ink pad over that layer and heat-embossed it with the same White Twinkle embossing powder.  It’s hard to see in photos but it really sparkles when it catches the light!  I adhered the clouds and sentiment to the card and then added the unicorn with foam mounting tape!  I added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the unicorn’s horn, cheek, and hearts and then added a layer of nuvo crystal glaze to the finish the card!

    Super cute card! Nothing happier than unicorns and rainbows. Quick question, I don’t see the sentiment you used/listed in the Always Be Yourself set. Do you know what set that is from?
