Good morning! I’m excited to introduce you to the newest Altenew Build-A-Flower set (and my current all-time personal favorite floral set from Altenew!): Peruvian Lily!!
A few nights ago I set up the corners of my MISTI with each layer and I just went to town creating flowers! I used a variety of inks from Altenew and Simon Says Stamp to stamp my flowers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies (I’ll include the inks I used in my supply list below!). Then it was just a matter of assembling my cards!
For my first card I started by stamping the sentiment down a grey cardstock panel using grey ink. At the bottom of my card I stamped it with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I splattered the panel with white spray and let it dry overnight.
Finally I adhered the flowers with a mixture of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. I trimmed off the excess that went over the edge of the panel and then finished the card with a few glossy white nuvo drops!
My second card uses the Gradient Stripes die to create a background. I die-cut it with dark grey cardstock and adhered it to a black card base. Then I stamped the sentiment onto one of the grey stripes and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder.
I adhered the flowers to the panel and then finished the card with a few glossy nuvo drops.
My third card takes the focus off the flowers but still allows them to shine! I started by spraying a white card base with jet black spray. I let it dry and then adhered the flowers over it.
I die-cut the sentiment from dark grey cardstock and adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape. Then I finished the card with a few glossy black nuvo drops!
My final card is similar to the third though it’s missing leaves because I ran out of my stash! 😉 I started by spraying white spray onto a black card base. I let it dry and then adhered my flowers over the panel.
This time I die-cut the sentiment three times and adhered them together to create a thicker sentiment. I adhered it over the flowers and applied a layer of spectrum noir clear sparkle to the entire sentiment. I finished the card with a few glossy white nuvo drops! I have a few flowers left and I’m sure I’ll find more ways to use them…this set is just amazing!
The Altenew Build-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily set includes 1 6×8 stamp set (13 layering images and 1 sentiment) and 1 coordinating die set (2 dies). The Altenew Build-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily is only sold as a set, not individually.
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your week!!
