Good morning!! Today I’m popping in to share two cards using images I colored from this adorable Mama Elephant set:
I just love the whimsical look of this whole set! And those bunnies…SO CUTE!
I had lots of colored images so I decided to break them into two cards…one slightly more involved and one more CAS. For the first card I started by blending shaded lilac, spun sugar, and picked raspberry distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. I splattered it with water and shimmer spray and blotted off the excess. Then I die-cut the panel with the Hillside Cover die to give the sky a little interest!
I also die-cut the Lots of Stars die from white cardstock and colored them in two shades of pale yellow. I stamped the sentiment from Wish Upon a Star onto the hillside cover panel with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I added my bunnies with foam mounting tape. Finally I scattered the stars around the bunnies in lieu of my normal sequins or jewels! 🙂
I kept my second panel very clean and simple and started by masking off a panel of strathmore bristol cardstock. I blended the same three inks onto the panel and let them dry. Once they were dry I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I arranged the star fishing bunny on the panel with foam mounting tape and then cut my remaining cloud in half. I adhered one half to each side of the card to give it a little more interest! Finally I finished this card with a few more stars!
