Good morning! A bit of news to share…if you hadn’t heard already hackers have taken down the Where Creativity Meets C9 blog. We’re in the process of getting it back up and running but it’s taking a little longer than expected! But don’t fret, we will be back! In the meantime, we don’t have a challenge today but Concord & 9th does have an amazing November release and I wanted to share a card using my favorite set from the new release!
The Winter Wear set is just adorable and I love that big chunky scarf! I stamped the girl onto copic-friendly paper with versafine, heat-embossed her with clear embossing powder, and colored her with copics. I also stamped the scarf separately, colored it with copic markers, and die-cut it with the coordinating dies. I die-cut the girl with an oval die and added an oval frame in pink cardstock. I also die-cut that little flower in her hair twice and added a black gem for a little sparkle.
Next I stamped the Snowflake Turnabout with pink and teal inks with one turn heat-embossed with gold tinsel embossing powder. I also stamped a sentiment onto black cardstock with versamark and heat-embossed it with gold embossing powder. I trimmed the snowflake panel down and adhered it to a white card base. Then I adhered the oval frames with regular ATG adhesive and used foam mounting tape for the scarf. I finished the card with a little spectrum noir clear sparkle, nuvo crystal glaze, and a sprinkling of chunky and prisma glitter! This release is filled with a bunch of fantastic products but this set is a must-have! 😉
Thanks for visiting and have a great day!
