Good morning! Today I’m excited to share a card using the cheerful April release from Concord & 9th! Concord & 9th is also donating 10% of ALL April profits to Covid-19 relief efforts and will spend the month reminding us that Brighter Days are Ahead! 🙂
To that end I created a cheerful encouraging card using the adorable Rainbow Turnabout and Brighter Days dies!
To start I stamped the Rainbow Turnabout using distress oxide inks in Shaded Lilac, Spun Sugar, Tumbled Glass, and Squeezed Lemonade. I blasted the oxide inks with my heat gun to set them and then I trimmed the panel down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to a panel of soft pink cardstock.
Next I die-cut the clouds from the Brighter Days die set with white and silver glitter cardstock, the sun from gold glitter cardstock, hearts from soft pink cardstock, and the sentiment from white and black cardstock. I puzzle pieced the sentiments together with white and black cardstock and added a scrap of black cardstock behind each label to keep everything in place. Then I arranged all the elements on my rainbow panel and adhered them with a mix of regular adhesive and foam mounting tape. I finished the card by adding a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the hearts!
And that’s it! I’ll be back next with more to share using some of the other release items but I encourage you to head over and shop the April Release for a good cause! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
