Good morning! I’m back to share more inspiration using the fabulous August release from Concord & 9th! Today I’m focusing on the last two bundles: Friendship Farms and Sweater Weather!
First up is a cozy card featuring the Sweater Weather bundle! To start I stamped the Woven Plaid background onto kraft cardstock with barely beige no-line ink. Then I die-cut the sentiment from gold glitter cardstock and dark grey cardstock and layered them together with liquid adhesive. I die-cut the leaves and mug from white cardstock and colored them with copic markers. I adhered the sentiment to the plaid panel and tucked the leaves and mug around the frame. Then I pulled a little cotton off a cotton ball and glued it behind the mug to create some hot steam. I added a tiny bit of liquid adhesive and sprinkled it with chunky glitter to finish the card with a little extra sparkle!
For my second card I stamped the same Woven Plaid background onto another piece of kraft cardstock. Then I die-cut that fun frame shape with oatmeal cardstock and stamped the sentiments from Friendship Farms with versafine before heat-embossing them with clear embossing powder. I adhered the frame to the plaid panel.
Then I die-cut three bushel baskets and a ton of apples from the die set and colored them with copics! I added a few accents with a white gel pen and then assembled my apple bushels! I adhered the green and yellow apples with regular adhesive and used foam mounting tape for my red apples. Finally I tucked a few stray apples around the baskets to give them a little depth and dimension! This card definitely got me in the mood for fall and apple-picking!!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a fantastic weekend!!
