Good morning! Today we’re starting the 14th challenge for Where Creativity Meets C9 and our theme is Shades of Concord & 9th and we’re challenging you to create projects using the logo colors of Concord and 9th:
You can find all the details and the rest of the design team’s creations here!
We are sponsored by the fantastic Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree and our favorite entry will be asked to guest-design for a future challenge!
Here’s what I created:
I’ve been doing lots of experiments with my alcohol inks and I actually shared this background on IG last week. I dropped alcohol inks in mermaid, denim, and pool onto yupo paper, diluted them with colorless blender, and then used a straw to move the ink around until it covered the entire panel. I let it dry and then trimmed it down to a 4″ by 5.25″ panel.
Next I die-cut the sentiment from Say Hello three times with white cardstock and adhered them together with glossy accents. I also die-cut the Floral & Flutter die from navy cardstock and arranged them over the background panel. I adhered the sentiment over the flowers and then added a sprinkling of navy blue and sparkling clear sequins in a wave to finish the card!
And now it’s your turn! The challenge ends on October 28th and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more design inspiration throughout the month! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous week!
