Good morning! Today we’re starting a new challenge for Where Creativity Meets C9 and it’s Spring!! Yep, time to dust off the snow and bring on the flowers!! 😉 You can find all the details and the rest of the design team’s creations here!
We are sponsored by the fantastic Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree and our favorite entry will be asked to guest-design for a future challenge! Here’s what I created:
I’ve been needing to make a few sets of cards and this challenge was the perfect opportunity to make some simple stamped one-layer cards! Add the MISTI and some pretty layering inks and it’ll take you no time at all! I love the intentional splotchy look of this stamp set. It gives them a really interesting textural look.
I used a different combination of inks and petals and second generation stamping for each one but predominantly I used Silver Stone, Industrial Diamond, Pink Pearl, Coral Berry, Coral Bliss, and Frosty Pink inks from Altenew for my cards. I love how you can build your branches any way you’d like by changing which stamps you use! I actually made a second set of sympathy cards using just the leaves in shades of grey.
And now it’s your turn! The challenge ends on April 29th and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more design inspiration throughout the month! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous week!

Very pretty cards,Jess! Love that they are one layer & easy to mail! I do have a tip about that, ( you may already know this!); I buy poster board at 4/$1. & Cut it into 5 1/4 x 4″ & lay a piece on top of my A2 cards that have bumps or are extra thick. They go through the mail with just one stamp & no problems.
