Good morning! Today we’re starting a new challenge for Where Creativity Meets C9 and it’s Layers!! You can find all the details and the rest of the design team’s creations here!
We are sponsored by the fantastic Concord & 9th and one lucky random entry will receive a $25 gift certificate for a Concord & 9th shopping spree and our favorite entry will be asked to guest-design for a future challenge! Have you seen their October release?! It is absolutely swoon-worthy! Here’s what I created using a fabulous new turnabout and die set from the release:
I just LOVE the Crafty Turnabout and Crafty dies! They’re perfect for papercrafters! So I started by stamping the turnabout onto a piece of rainbow patterned paper with versamark and heat-embossing it with white embossing powder. I trimmed it down to 4″ by 5.25″ and adhered it to a white card base.
Next I die-cut a scalloped square frame and stamped the sentiment with versafine before heat-embossing it with black sparkle embossing powder. I adhered it to the card with foam mounting tape. Next I die-cut the string and paintbrush from Crafty dies and colored them with copics. I added a few accents with a white gel pen, spectrum noir clear sparkle, and nuvo glaze and then adhered them to the sentiment frame. Finally I added a few jewels to finish the card!
And now it’s your turn! The challenge ends on October 29th and I can’t wait to see what you’ll create! Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for more design inspiration throughout the month! Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous week!
