Good morning! I’m excited to join Tracey McNeely for my third year of her 25 Days of Christmas Tags event! Today I’m honored to represent Concord & 9th and the Where Creativity Meets C9 design team! If you’ve never heard of Where Creativity Meets C9, we’re a challenge blog celebrating our love for Concord & 9th…it’s been a rough few weeks as our challenge blog was taken down by hackers (*ugh*) but we’re working on getting it back up and running so we can share more Concord & 9th inspiration with you!
Anyway, done with my shameless plug, 😉 here’s my tag:
I decided to go a little old-school and pulled out my most favorite Concord & 9th set ever: O Christmas Tree! It’s just a classic gorgeous holiday set and it was what led me to discover Concord & 9th!
I started by blending blueprint sketch, mermaid lagoon, and peacock feathers distress ink onto a piece of strathmore bristol cardstock. I spritzed it with iridescent spray and then die-cut it with a stitched fishtail tag die. Then I simply stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder and then stamped the tree with versamark and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. I added a few peacock gems that sparkle in similar teal tones when they catch the light. Finally I topped the tag with a little bit of teal sequin ribbon. Concord & 9th used to carry this and I literally bought like 8 spools of each color they carried and have hoarded it ever since! 😉

Don’t just copy and paste your comment on every blog… write something nice you see for each designer… they put a lot of hard work into their creations. They deserve to have you actually look at their work.
