Good morning! I’m joining Altenew to celebrate the release of their newest Create-A-Flower and one of my all-time favorite flowers: Snowdrops! It’s been many years since they’ve actually come up in our garden when there was also snow on the ground but they’re one of my favorite ways to tell that spring is on the way!
To start I die-cut the Create-A-Flower Snowdrops from white cardstock and two pale shades of green cardstock. I adhered the flowers together with liquid glue and added a little spectrum noir clear sparkle to the colored centers. Then I created my background by blending speckled egg, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire distress oxide ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol smooth cardstock.
I tore white cardstock to create my snowbanks and stamped a sentiment from You Are Beautiful. I adhered them to my background and then added in my snowdrops to finish the card. And that’s it! It’s super simple to create these flowers but they are so very striking in their simplicity!
Head over to check out Create-A-Flower Snowdrops from Altenew and remember that you can subscribe so you never miss a release!
