I shared this card using the My Monthly Hero kit on my blog this weekend:
And today, I’m sharing a clean and simple card with the June 2021 My Monthly Hero kit!
I have a video for this card set that you can watch below or over at my YouTube channel:
IF THE VIDEO IS NOT VISIBLE PLEASE CLICK HERE TO WATCH!
I wanted to keep things simple and let that adorable kitty and his bunch of balloons shine! I started by stamping the cat and balloons and coloring them with copic markers. When I was finished coloring I die-cut them with the coordinating frame cuts.
Next I blended Pool Party and Splash ink onto a panel of strathmore bristol smooth cardstock on a diagonal. Then I cut an A2 panel at a diagonal and trimmed off the top and bottom to give myself a little opening. I adhered the white panels over my blended background and added a sentiment. Finally I used foam mounting tape to add my kitten and his balloons! I can’t get over how much this kitten reminds me of my troublemaker, Havoc! He would be the first to grab onto balloons and fly if he could!
I have one more card to share today using some of the add-on sets. Can you tell that I was in a blue and teal mood for this kit? I started by blending Pool Party and Splash ink on another A2 panel. I splattered it with water and blotted off the excess. Then I die-cut the Birthday Border Fancy Die from white and black cardstock and trimmed some of the frame off the black cardstock. I flipped it and then adhered it to the white cardstock for a little more dimension. I created a shaker card using the rainbow clay bits included in the kit and then finished it with a sentiment from the Birthday Stamp and Cut XL which is sure to be a new favorite of mine!
And that’s it for me! I just adore those cute kitties and puppies! Head over and pick up your June My Monthly Hero kit and add-ons today before it sells out!
To celebrate the kit release Hero Arts is giving away a $50 gift card as a prize to one blog reader selected from the comments across all of the blogs in the hop so make sure you leave a comment at each hop stop for the most chances to win! Please comment before 11:59PM EST on Sunday, June 13th! You should have arrived from Ilina and Libby is your next stop!

The floating kitty is adorable. My granddaughter asked me to hold her up last night while she was holding a bunch of helium balloons, and I made her “float” up slowly…over and over. This reminds me of our fun party, and times with my own sweetie pie

Dear Jessica – Love your CAS cards. I especially like the background square (stencil?) for the one with the gift. The kitties floating away on the balloons are adorable.
