When I saw the CASology challenge for this week I knew I’d have to play along! I’m hoping to make a few more cards before the challenge ends but I wanted to go ahead and share my first card!
I had my Gansai Tambi watercolors out for another upcoming card and decided to use them for this piano card! I stamped the keyboard and sentiment in versafine and embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I covered the keyboard with frisket masking fluid. Once the frisket had dried I watercolored the background with two different shades of purple. I let the paint dry naturally and then I rubbed off the frisket revealing the clean white keyboard underneath! To finish the card I added a sprinkling of sequins from The Ton! 🙂
I’m entering this card into the CASology Week #146 Challenge: Music!
Thanks for visiting…check back in a few hours for the newest Christmas Card Challenge!

Oh I love this, Jessica. The purple splash is gorgeous and the keyboard really takes the spotlight. Beautiful.
