Good morning! I’m so excited to be hopping along to celebrate the newest Anita Jeram release from Colorado Craft Company! There are four adorable new sets with coordinating dies and I’m sharing a card using Getting Ready!
I just loved the image of that cute bunny and his robin friends getting ready for Christmas! To start I stamped the image with copic friendly black ink and then stamped him a second time on masking paper. I fussy cut the mask and placed it over my stamped image. I also extended the snowbank for a landscape card with a copic multi-liner and masked it off as well. Then I blended a background using spun sugar, shaded lilac, and blueprint sketch distress oxide ink. When I’m masking something this large I prefer to mask and blend before copic coloring just in case something goes wrong or I accidentally tear the image with the masking paper. That way I only have to repeat the ink-blending not an hour’s (or more) worth of copic coloring! After I finished blending I splattered the panel with water and blotted off the excess.
Then I carefully removed the mask and colored the image with copic markers. I just love coloring these images and spent a relaxing hour watching the newest episode of the Great British Bake Off and coloring! I used the following colors:
- Bunny: W00, W1, W3, W5, R0000, R00, R02
- Robin: R30, R32, R35, E70, E71, E74
- Stocking and Bow: R30, R32, R35, R37, R39, R89
- Snow: B0000, B00, B02
- Tree: E23, E25, E27, G20, G21, G24
Once I was done coloring I stamped the sentiment with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder to finish the card!
Make sure to check out the full release as well as all the other gorgeous Anita Jeram designs that Colorado Craft Company has to offer! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
