Good morning! There is a new Anita Jeram release available today over at Colorado Craft Company and it’s something special!! She’s created a fantastic assortment of underwater mermaids and critters for today’s ‘The Way of Water’ release! I’m sharing a mini slimline card using the adorable Walrus mini today!
I started by stamping that adorable walrus and sentiment onto a panel of white cardstock and masking him with post-it notes. Then I blended antique linen and tea dye distress oxide ink to create his sandy beach and spun sugar, picked raspberry, and salty ocean distress oxide ink for his sky! I spritzed the panel with water and shimmer spray before removing the mask.
Then I colored the walrus with warm grey copic markers! I adhered the panel to a mat of black cardstock and kept things simple and just applied a little nuvo crystal glaze to his tusks to finish the card! I love how darling he looks peeking from the side of the card!
I’ll have more to share with this fantastic release on Monday but until then be sure to head over and check out ‘The Way of Water.’ And don’t forget, if you shop through a guest designer’s affiliate link you’re automatically entered to win the entire release!! I’d be honored if you’d shop with my link HERE! Also, leaving a comment on each hop stop will give you the chance to win a stamp set from the release! Thanks for stopping by, good luck and happy shopping!!
