I’ve got a few giveaways currently going on…a Starbucks giveaway to celebrate the Spring Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and a watercolor giveaway showcasing the awesome Daniel Smith watercolors! Hope you’ll check them out! 😉
This is my second post for today. For my Butterfly Reflections Ink post please click here or scroll down!
We’ve got a rustic inspiration photo for you this week at Christmas Card Challenges!
I based my card loosely on the layout of the inspiration photo and the snowflakes! It also reminded me that I really need to buy a good woodgrain background stamp…any suggestions? 😉
Here’s what I came up with!
I stamped the snowflakes from the Ton’s Crystal Flurries and then heat-embossed them with white embossing powder. I also stamped and die-cut one snowflake with the corresponding dies and adhered it with foam mounting tape. Finally I stamped the sentiment from Papertrey Ink’s Think Big Favorites #8 and heat-embossed it with platinum embossing powder. CAS and a fast card to put together! I actually made a set of 12 that I can give away next Christmas!
And now it’s your turn to get crafty! We provide an inspiration palette or photo each week but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card! For even more inspiration, check out what the rest of the Christmas Card Challenges design team has created!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!

Jess, such a great interpretation! It’s gorgeous, I’m obsessed with snowflakes. I love the white and Kraft paper and the little sneak of gold. Love it, love, love it! Thanks for sharing.
