Good afternoon! We’ve got a fun inspiration photo for you this week at Christmas Card Challenges!
I went fairly literal with my interpretation of the inspiration photo but had a lot of fun making a dimensional “gift” for my card!
I started off by stamping the sentiment on a stitched die-cut rectangle of white cardstock and then adhering the white cardstock to a dark red card base. Then I cut a square of gold shimmer cardstock and tied a red baker’s twine bow around the square. I used foam mounting tape to attach the cardstock square to the cardbase. Finally I punched pine sprigs from green cardstock and attached them to the top of my gift with a few red pearls for embellishment!
And now it’s your turn to get crafty! We provide an inspiration palette or photo each week but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card! For even more inspiration, check out what the rest of the Christmas Card Challenges design team has created!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fabulous day!
