Good afternoon! We have a fun color palette to inspire you this week!
And here’s what I created:
It’s subtle but I really liked the tone on tone pattern in the inspiration photo and decided to use that as the inspiration for my shaker tag! I stamped the tree with versamark and then heat-embossed it on red cardstock with clear embossing powder. I also stamped the little sentiment and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder. Next I die-cut it with the stitched circle tag, deliberately off-setting the top of the tree with the top of the tag. For some reason it kinda bugs me to line up the top of a tag with the top of the image…just a personal thing! 😉 Then I die-cut the numbers from the tag and adhered acetate to the back of the numbers. I built up a border of foam mounting tape on the back of the tag around the numbers and filled it with white microbeads. Finally I added a backing of white glitter paper to seal my tag and tied it with peppermint striped twine and red sequin strands.
And now it’s your turn to get crafty! We provide an inspiration palette or photo each week but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card! For even more inspiration, check out what the rest of the Christmas Card Challenges design team has created!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a fantastic day!
