Good morning! I’m popping in to share some inspiration using the new Kris Lauren Pretty Little Lines release from Colorado Craft Company and a giveaway!
Today’s card uses the adorable Daffodil Mice! I stamped the daffodil and both mice with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder before coloring them with copics. I used the following copic markers:
- Mice – T0, T2, T4, T6, R0000, R00, R02
- Daffodil – G21, G24, G28, Y11, Y13, Y15, Y38, E37, YR16
Once I finished coloring I die-cut the images with the coordinating dies. I also stamped the sentiment from Daffodil Mice onto dark navy cardstock and heat-embossed it with white embossing powder before die-cutting it with the coordinating die.
Next I created my background by blending Shaded Lilac, Blueprint Sketch, and Chipped Sapphire distress oxide ink onto a panel of heavystock cardstock. I let the color fade to white at the bottom and then splattered it with water. I adhered the images to the panel with ATG adhesive and foam mounting tape for the bottom mouse. Finally I added nuvo crystal glaze to the inside of the mice ears and sprinkled them with chunky and prisma glitter for a little extra sparkle!

Absolutely love what you’ve done with this stamp. Adding the second mouse to the tail of the first one makes the image tell a story. Your vibrant colors, especially the night sky, are perfect, and the sparkles are a nice touch. Better Than Store Bought! (BTSB)💗

I am all about those darling mice! Who could resist those expressive eyes… Your background is just the ticket to make those cute mice stand out. What a sweet layout when one mouse is holding on to the flower and the other mouse looks as if he is holding on to tail of the one above him – adorable. The bit of sparkle in their ears was a nice touch.

These mice are the cutest! I love their big eyes. Your card is beautiful, the blue background really sets off the yellow daffodil.
