Good morning! The Anita Jeram June release from Colorado Craft Company is now available and it has some absolutely must-have stamp sets! I fell hard for the gorgeous Stargazers set and used that for today’s card!
To start, I stamped the bunnies and sentiment onto a panel of strathmore bristol smooth cardstock with versafine and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. Then I masked off the image and also created a mask for my moon from a circle die. Then I blended shaded lilac, uncharted mariner (LOVE this new color!), chipped sapphire, and black soot distress oxide ink onto my panel to create a night sky. I left the masks in place and then splattered the panel with water and metallic white paint and let it dry.
Once it was dry I used the circle mask negative and blended antique linen and mustard seed distress oxide ink onto the moon. I added a few splatters of water to give it a little texture and let it dry. When the background was dry I colored the bunnies and ground with copic markers. I added a little moonshine on the bunnies bellies and I’m happy with how it turned out. Finally I stamped stars across the sky and heat-embossed them with white embossing powder to finish the card.
Be sure to check out the full Anita Jeram release from Colorado Craft Company and I’d love to know your favorites! Thanks so much for stopping by and have an amazing day!
