Hero Arts December My Monthly Hero Countdown, Day 1 (+GIVEAWAY!)

Good morning! We’re kicking off the countdown to the Hero Arts December My Monthly Hero kit today and I’m sharing a card using the GORGEOUS new kit!

The December kit is packed with fun images and a great background cling stamp that I featured in today’s card! I smooshed reactive inks onto the cling stamp and then spritzed it a few times with shimmer spray before pressing a piece of watercolor paper onto the stamp. Once it was dry I stamped and heat-embossed a few gold stars across the panel for a little more shimmer and sparkle.

Then I stamped a few images and a sentiment from the kit, colored them with copics, and adhered them to my watercolor panel with foam mounting tape! To finish the card I added crystal lacquer to the helmets and parts of the planet balloons! This card is so sparkly, I just love to see it catch the light!
