Good morning! We’re continuing the countdown to the Hero Arts July My Monthly Hero kit today and I’m sharing a card using the new kit!
I stamped those gorgeous layering flamingos in shades of pink and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies. Next I took a bunch of blue and aqua cardstock scraps that I’ve been storing up and adhered them to a card base with my darkest colors towards the top and my lighter colors towards the bottom. I added a sentiment from the kit heat-embossed onto black cardstock with gold embossing powder and then adhered my flamingos with foam mounting tape to finish the card!
And that’s it for me! Head over to the Hero Arts blog for more inspiration using the July My Monthly Hero kit all weekend long!! And then I’ll be back Tuesday (after the holiday) with the full kit reveal!!
For a chance to win a kit before you can buy it, just leave a comment on this (and every) Countdown to Creativity post. We’ll randomly draw one lucky winner from all the comments left across all countdown posts. The winner will be announced first thing Tuesday morning, July 5th, before the kit launches at 10am Pacific. The more you comment, the more chances to win!
Thanks so much for visiting and enjoy the rest of your weekend!!
