Good afternoon and welcome back to another Christmas Card Challenge! This week we have an interesting photo inspiration…
I’ll admit that I was really stumped at first…I wasn’t sure how to incorporate Santa into a kraft and black color scheme (especially since I don’t own any Santa stamps)….but I think I made it work! 😉
I love the way Keeway adapts different critters for various cards and I thought I’d give it a try. As I said earlier I don’t have any Santa stamps so I stamped the hat from a Lawn Fawn set, masked it, and then stamped the penguin under the hat. I decided to color the hat with my copic markers to give a little pop of color to an otherwise CAS card. Then I die-cut the window from Memory Box with black cardstock and added a layer of acetate inside the window to resemble glass. I placed it over my Santa penguin and then added my sentiment word bubble! The word bubble was die-cut from a Lawn Fawn set and the sentiment is from Neat and Tangled!
I hope you’ll play along this week…we’d love for you to play along with the photo challenge but really, the only rule is that you create a holiday card!

I’m still plugging away at happy mail! I took a little time to make an actual spreadsheet today which should help me plan out the order better! But I’m working on it!
