It’s another Anything Goes week over at Christmas Card Challenges and here’s my card!
I’ve been wanting to use this Taylored Expression die for awhile and was waiting for the next Anything Goes challenge to roll around on the 4th week!
I started off by blending Chipped Sapphire, Black Soot, and Dusty Concord distress ink onto a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and let it dry completely. I cut the die from the same white cardstock and adhered it to the top of the background. Then I placed the Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow stencil over the card and applied Ranger Texture Paste. While the paste was wet I sprinkled it with Rock Candy stickles glitter and then spritzed everything with Tsukineko Frost shimmer spray. I set it aside to dry while I created the sentiment.
I cut a strip of vellum and heat-embossed the sentiment from Clearly Besotted Winter Blooms with Ranger silver embossing powder. I cut a slit on one side of the banner and then trimmed it to a fishtail edge. I adhered it to one side of the card and then mounted it on a top-folding Simon Says Stamp Soft Navy card base. It’s super shimmery and very wintery-looking…considering it’s 9 degrees outside, it’s pretty appropriate! 😉
I hope you’ll play along this week and look forward to seeing your creations! Visit the rest of the design team for more inspiration and check out our Facebook page…you just might see your creations there!
