Good afternoon and welcome back to another Christmas Card Challenge! This week we have a fun palette as a color inspiration! The designers have created some fabulous cards using these colors and I look forward to seeing what you will create!
I started off by stamping the sentiment from Neat and Tangled onto a panel of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock with Mama Elephant Apple pigment ink and heat-embossing it with clear embossing powder. Next I took a piece of white cardstock and die-cut it with the largest Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circles die. I stamped the Winter Bunny from Lawn Fawn with versafine onyx black ink and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder. I colored the bunny, sled, and scarf with copic markers and added clear wink of stella glitter to the bunny’s scarf. I used multi-medium matte to freehand a snowy hill and then added Martha Stewart coarse glitter while the glue was wet. Then I used my Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush cornflower blue marker to color the sky and then blended it out with a water brush. I adhered the circle to the panel and then trimmed off the bottom of the circle. I used multi-medium matte to continue the snowy slope and then added more glitter. To finish the card I adhered the panel to a top-folding card base of Neenah Desert Storm cardstock!
I can’t wait to see your interpretations of our color challenge! Don’t forget to check out the rest of the design team!
