Good morning and welcome back to the third week of my Christmas in July video tutorial series! You can find week 1 here and week 2 here. Concord & 9th‘s July release came out on the 9th and I couldn’t resist snatching up all their new Christmas sets for today’s video! I created two cards today…one is an (almost one-layer) CAS card and the other is a shaker!
You can watch today’s video below or in HD at my YouTube channel!
My first card uses the O Christmas Tree set and a variety of inks from Hero Arts. I loved the ‘Deck the Halls’ sentiment and decided to use some of the tinier decorative stamps to create a word art Christmas tree! Finally I added a border with the Stripe Builders border set and then matted the panel on a red card base.
My next card is also CAS but it’s a shaker, my all-time favorite card to create! I die-cut the Joy word from the center of a piece of white cardstock and then filled it with red, silver, gold, sparkling clear sequins and red and clear seed beads.
I stamped the rest of the sentiment from the Joy stamp set onto red cardstock, heat-embossed it with white embossing powder, and then trimmed it down to a label before adhering it to the card with foam mounting tape.
I am really loving this release from Concord and 9th! I have made several more cards using these stamp sets and will share them later this week! I highly recommend heading over to pick them up because they’re sure to sell out soon!
P.S. Fun fact, the music on my video today is performed by yours truly on my harp! This month I’ll be using tracks off of my solo Christmas album on my holiday card tutorial videos and I hope you enjoy them! ?
To help get you in the holiday spirit I have a crafty package of a few supplies that I’ve used to create each card this month. The total contents of the package will be a surprise for the recipient but is valued over $45! To enter leave a comment on each of my Christmas in July posts and this week, let me know your favorite holiday cookie (or your favorite cookie in general if you don’t celebrate Christmas)! ? US and international entries welcome!
Thanks so much for visiting and have a wonderful day!

I love the cards you have made, and the shaker card is my most favorite. When it’s Christmas, I love most of all little chocolats, with white sprinkles on it. I don’t no the name in English because I’m from The Netherlands. They are round and sometimes they look like a star, but most of the time they are round, with a hole in it. We called them ‘kerstkransjes’ and when I translate that you get ‘Christmas Wreaths’ ?.

Awww!!!! Your cards are amazing! I’m definitely in love for your stunning shaker card! <3
My favourite holiday cookie is gingerbread but another cookie that remember me that is Xmas is a kind of biscuit that we use baking in Sicily, south of Italy. I don't like so much because one of the main ingredients is the fig. During the summer my grandma take figs outside and let them dry in the sun. During the holiday season, we use to baking biscuits after dinner. These biscuits are very beautiful bacause they're all hand-decorated and all of different little shapes. In Sicilian slang we call them "cassateddre". It's a beautiful way to stay together with all my family.

These are wonderful cards. I love the way you created a tree out of the sentiment on the first and used the negative die cut lets as your shaker card window.
